My four years at Eastern Connecticut State University have provided me with an excellent education and training using the latest technology and software. However, I believe that it’s growing up in a design/advertising family that sets me apart. With a creative director mother, photographer father and copywriter sister, talking about problem solving and creative solutions was regular dinner conversation.

I am proficient in using Photoshop to silhouette photos and now assist with a wide range of day-to-day tasks, ranging from photo manipulation, color correction, and prepping files for print and web. I’ve even had the opportunity to take the lead on a few design projects and completely redesign a firm’s website.

For me, it starts with research to thoroughly understand the client’s needs and their market. Then to the strategy phase where a plan is developed. This is followed by concept development and final execution. The goal is always to deliver impactful creative solutions that stands apart from the competition and produces results for the client.

I believe that listening is extremely important to understanding a client’s needs if I am to guide the creative process and ultimately meet client objectives. I’ve been shown the heart and soul of the business – it’s not “just” about creating good design, but also creating a strategic solution that answers a need.
